# Service status

> Current operational state of the Hyparrow API and its
components. Public and unauthenticated. Answers 200 whatever
the state it reports; read `data.state`, which is one of
`operational`, `degraded` or `down`. The reading is refreshed
server side every 15 seconds, so polling faster than that
returns the same snapshot.
